Thank Goodness for the Tree Trimming Guys!

Befriending the local tree trimmers was a really good move last fall! You know ’em, too… those guys that drive the big orange truck with the back full of wood chips? Well, after asking oh-so-nicely they brought us two huge loads of freshly chipped trimmings from the work they do keeping the power lines clear. Those chips have been essential through this wet winter, keeping all of our mud under control! (Turns out, you can actually call and “request” those wood chips… but I found it more fun to flag them down while they were working!) Now they know to just drop a load off anytime they are nearby! Paying with eggs makes good friends!
